Great Fun Times

So tonight there was a Rascal Flats concert at the BJC. What does that mean to lil' ol' me? Well, here's the thing, Eat 'n Park and the W. T. (white trash) go together very well. As it happens, W. T. and country music also go together very well. I think you may be able to tell where I'm going with this.

On a night where we are expecting to be busy, my GM calls at 11 o' clock just to shoot the shit, cause she's on vacation down in Florida. Now, as some may know, 11 is the time that I have a ton of shit to do if I am working as the Cover Manager. So, this is extremely annoying to me. Then, all hell breaks loose and the W.T. are out in full force. Mountain Dew and Steaks with ketchup are everywhere. And everyone needs me to help them. If only I worked at a place where everyone could actually handle doing their jobs. (No offense to anyone who was there)

This is the life of Adam. I go to work, do everyone else's job, go home and repeat. I need a new job like whoa over here. Someone help. Really, burn down the building or I will.

On a lighter note, perhaps I'll go out tonight and enjoy the terrible singing of some other W.T. or at least listen to the new wave stylings of Jonathan. Who wants to miss that? I mean, it is Sunday, Arena is just what we do. I think I need a near death experience to push me out of this lull I've fallen into. Yes, I did just end a sentence with a preposition, yes I know I shouldn't.

And let's just talk about how much I enjoy having people talk about me. I found out yesterday that, apparently, upon becoming single, I have become the Eat 'n Park whore. Or at least thats what the rumors would have you believe. So far, I'm dating one girl, I've slept with another, and I just asked out yet another. It's weird how you can do so much and just not remember any of it. Screw you guys. I'm not dating anyone. I didn't ask anyone out. And I am not getting any. And in case you wanna know if any of those things happens, ASK ME. I'm a pretty open guy. If you care about my life, the best source on it (as far as I know) is ME.

Sorry. The rumor mill is killing me.

Does anyone have an opinion on what I should buy next, video game wise? I'm torn between spending the money I don't have on all sorts of games and still can't play the ones I have.

Dude, my working life is stuck in the same rut (i try not to specify it too much via the internets in case the wrong people were to see it). Life seems to be progressing along a lot quicker than my career. the only problem is, i dont want to rock the boat while i'm still so far in debt because of these stupid student loans. that steady paycheck just takes a lot of the stress off.

sometimes i can see myself doing what i'm currently doing for the rest of my life (well not exactly what im doing now, but staying with the company), and sometimes that seems the furthest from what i want to be doing in even 5 years. i just have so many other things i want to be doing.

with regards to you squandering your engineering degree, i'm kinda doing the same. i actually do use some skills occasionally, but on the whole i'm slowly forgetting that knowledge. i will be taking the PE exam this year, so i guess thats something.

Woo hoo, a Rascal Flatts concert. I bet that was just awesome. I almost went to the Arena last night. Then figured there would be no one there and decided against it.

Anyways, hang in there, I think all of us are stuck in a rut. Maybe we should all just move to Guam and start our own business or something...

Ha, I understand the rut, hence why I am working on getting a Master's degree. At any rate Adam, I at least you were asked little things it seemed in the pantry area (I know I asked for two or three things total I think, then I started helping out others in the pantry). But at any rate I understand the frustration.

You have an aerospace engineering degree. If you want I can look over your resume` and check it out. Or maybe you should look into furthering your education? At any rate seize the day my friend.

P.S. - I'll probably see you online or at work some time.
