A Few Reviews

Well, as I just stated, I bought myself Mario Kart Wii and GTA 4. So in case you are wondering my opinion on them, here it is.

Mario Kart Wii:
As we all know, Wii doesn't have the graphics capabilities that other next gen consoles have. That being put aside, this game is amazing. I haven't played for more than 2 hours, mostly because I want to keep my skill level low, but what I have seen is great. The handling takes a little time to get used to if you adopt the new Wii Wheel (which I suggest to get the most entertainment), but you can stick to the Classic Controller or GC Controller if you aren't up for the challenge. This game is great as a party game. It really doesn't require much effort to be decent at it and its Mario Kart so its obviously a good time for all. I haven't checked out the online capabilities, but I hear they are decent. So overall I give it a MUST BUY.

Grand Theft Auto 4:
If you are a fan of the GTA series, you will love this game. If you are a fan of doing random shit in a virtual world, you will love this game. A friend of mine referred to this as a "sandbox game," meaning you get to play in a virtual sandbox. Well, if a virtual NYC is a sandbox, sign me up. You can drink (which actually impairs your aiming and driving), go on dates, kill people for no reason, and buy random shit. I mean what more do you need in a game. Also, they added an online component. My roommate is literally addicted to it. I think he spent more time doing that than actual game play. And even funnier, (this is the roommate who sold his Xbox 360 to me) went out and bought a new 360 just to play this game. So, Im gonna say for anyone with an Xbox 360 over the age of 17 ... this is a MUST BUY.

That's all I feel like reviewing right now. Might give you an idea of what Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles is all about. I actually just started playing it (even though I bought it in December) and it is delightful so far.

You shouldn't be rating anything a must buy if you've played less than 2 hours of it.

For shame.

Oh, Gideon. You are silly. Every Mario Kart game is very similar. The only difference is graphics, interface, and extras (such as characters and tracks). Once you learn the interface and experience the game its easy to tell whether or not you will enjoy it. The only reason i have played it for less than 2 hours is so that i can still play with novices, without ruining the experience for them. I'm sorry that I haven't unlocked everything in the game before I rated it. I'll wait til I play 60 hours next time :)
